Strawberry shortcake is a darling re-imagining of the classic character Strawberry Shortcake as a Ruby Red Fashion Friend doll! She is a Charlotte base retaining her original beautiful green and amber speckled eyes with a new carrot red wig in soft synthetic mohair with delicate curls above her shoulders. She has a beautiful faceup applied to detail her charming features with freckles spanning across her nose and cheeks. She is truly one of a kind!
Strawberry Shortcake's wardrobe is a lovely collection of strawberry themed ensembles designed to compliment and coordinate together along with footwear. She is a collaborative creative effort with guest artists Michelle Olrich for faceup and KNITnPLAY for knitwear.
Her first wardrobe choice is her tiered strawberry dress. The dress is made of a sweet strawberry print on mint green cotton. The sleeveless babydoll bodice is fully lined with a faux placket down the front with white eyelet lace. The skirt is gathered at the babydoll waist for a lovely silhouette with rows of strawberry print, white eyelet lace and red striped print cotton trimmed with red crochet cluny lace. A band of ruffled red gingham ribbon adorns the skirt. The dress fastens in back with buttons. Pair with the coordinating sweater set. The sweater is made of high quality bamboo yarn in white with 3/4 sleeves and a strawberry button charm on the lapel. Complete the look with the matching hat. The hat is also made of white yarn featuring a strawberry charm on the edge. Around her neck she wears a enamel strawberry charm necklace. The necklace is easily fastened with a magnetic clasp.
